We wanted Long John Silver's so we drove 42 miles from Norco. I had the 2 pieces with hush puppies and cole slaw. Luckily this LJS is colocated with a KFC so we got KFC cole slaw, the best in the world.

Nasty we sat down and looked around every table and bench was so dirty the floor looked like it hadn't been swept, the counter was wet and sticky from the drinks there was no where to put your cup down, I told the guy at the register he said they been busy, there was a man asleep on a chair he said he was break, girl was playing and dropped a tongs to wake up the guy that was asleep and then it was put back on the counter where they were working wi not go back

I grew up eating Long John Silvers, but alas, many of them closed down and I've been trying to find one nearby that I could go back for nostalgia. I found this location and decided to give it a try.
It was a big disappointment. Maybe I had my hopes too high and I was blinded by nostalgia, but the fish was very underwhelming and oily, which is to be expected. The location is also joint with KFC and like your typical run down fast food place. The place was completely empty and I can tell why. I took some bites of the fish and could not finish it because it was so oily and heavy and just gross.
There was a lot of regret that day for going out of my way to get here -

What a shame that this LJS is the last one left in Orange County. I sometimes miss the flavor of the batter on the Chicken Planks®. But there's no bike parking and one of the dirtiest parking lots I've seen at a fast-food joint. I stepped in melting gum as I was locking up my bike on 7/20/2019 and had to spend 20 minutes cleaning the gum off of me & my gear. YUCK! I won't be returning to this LJS unless the two abovementioned issues are resolved.

Drove 30 miles and it was worth it! Haven't had it since they closed the one out here. Wish there was one closer. Clean, and well staffed. Will be going back in a few weeks.
